CATS FC is a not-for-for profit soccer club that began in 1999. Our purpose is to offer a competitive soccer atmosphere with a small hometown feel. We achieve this objective with licensed coaches that not only know the game of soccer, but also know to teach skills in a safe and friendly environment to prepare your child for success at high school and collegiate level. Monday, June 17th (BOYS)
5 p.m. – 7 p.m. Boys U8, U10, U12, U14
7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Boys U9, U11, U13
Tuesday, June 18th (GIRLS)
5 p.m. – 7 p.m. Girls U8, U10, U12, U14
7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Girls U9,U11, U13, U15/16, U17/19

Dates for the 2013 CATS camp have been announced. Mark your calendars for August 12 – 15th in the evening. More details will follow in the near future. Save the date!
Spring Drop-In Keeper Training dates are now scheduled for all CATS FC goalkeepers.
Sessions are free for all CATS keepers and $10/session for others. Sessions will be held at the Cal-Plex and Dutton Elementary at the following times:
6:00-6:45pm for U8-U11
6:45-7:30pm U12+

Congrats to the CATS FC Boys U9 Purple team as they won the Davenport Futsal tournament. They beat teams from Crew, Fire and Ole, winning every game.
While we as a club can take pride in this team, others are noticing as well. We received an email about the team’s play that is worth sharing:
“Had the pleasure of watching your U-9 team coached by Christian Cortes this weekend. They are a fantastic group for their age. The Cats team was extremely impressive in their technique, work ethic and organization. Very well coached and this was very obvious to me by their ability to defend and attack collectively. This is really going to a special team for your club. They seemed like classy and competitive kids as well. Having been in youth soccer a long time, I know typically boards only deal with negative emails. Thought I would pass along a very positive email. All the Best.”

The CATS FC GU14 Academy team took 2nd place at the 2nd Central Michigan University indoor soccer tournament, this one held in March. The team lost in the championship to a Michigan Fire Premier team.

The CATS FC GU14 Academy team took 2nd place at the Central Michigan University indoor soccer tournament. The team tied the Kalamazoo Kingdom Premier team 2-2 in the championship before falling in PKs.
